Hay Day built a huge audience around a simple itch: watching an empty plot of dirt turn into rows of crops, then trading that harvest for coins and a bigger farm. It is the reason so many people check in on a small patch of pixels every day. We wanted that same fast loop without an install, so we built Harvest Hollow, a free 3D farm game that runs directly in this page. Plant something, water it, and watch it grow while you read the rest of this article.
Play Harvest Hollow now
Tap to start, then walk to a soil plot to plant your first crop. Best played with sound on.
How to play
Walk your farmer with WASD or the arrow keys on desktop, or drag the on-screen joystick on phone and tablet. Get close to a soil plot or an animal pen and an action button appears, telling you exactly what it does: Plant, Water, Harvest, or Feed. Pick a crop from the bar at the bottom first, since wheat, carrots, and corn each grow at a different speed.
Your first crop can be planted, watered, and ready to pick within about 15 seconds. Once you have crops and eggs in your bag, check the orders strip at the top and tap Fulfill on any order you can complete for coins. A new order rotates in the moment you finish one. Everything you do saves on your device, so nothing here leaves your browser.
How it compares to Hay Day
Harvest Hollow keeps the part of Hay Day that we think is the actual hook: plant, water, harvest, feed, and turn that into coins by filling orders. The timing is deliberately compressed so a full loop takes seconds instead of minutes, and the daily order list gives you a reason to open the page again tomorrow, the same way Hay Day’s board does.
We also cut a lot on purpose. There is no online trading with other players, no roadside shop, and no visiting other farms. There is no premium currency, no gems, and nothing to purchase. We skipped the long-term progression tiers too, so you will not unlock new buildings or production chains over weeks of play.
It is one small farm, three crops, two animals, and a rotating order board, built to be understood in your first minute rather than mastered over months.
If you want the roadside shop, the neighborhood visits, the derby events, and the years of content Supercell has built on top of that core loop, Hay Day itself is the better fit. Harvest Hollow is for the five minutes when you want the satisfaction of a growing farm without opening an app store.
FAQ
Can I play Hay Day in a browser?
Not the real Hay Day. Supercell’s version is a mobile app for Android and iOS with no official browser release. Harvest Hollow is our own free browser game inspired by that same plant-water-harvest loop, and it runs right here on this page with nothing to install.
Is Harvest Hollow the real Hay Day?
No. It is an original game we built, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Supercell in any way. We reproduced the core farming loop in our own art and code because we think that loop is genuinely fun on its own, not because we are trying to pass it off as the original.
Does Harvest Hollow work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. The whole game is one file with no server calls, and your progress saves to your browser’s local storage, so you can keep farming even if your connection drops.
Is it free?
Completely. There is no premium currency, no ads, and nothing to buy. Coins only come from filling orders inside the game.
Will my farm still be there tomorrow?
Yes. Your plots, animals, and coins are saved on your device between visits. Each day also brings a fresh set of orders, generated the same way for everyone who opens the page that day.
